Meet the Team

Dr. Nathaniel Ban

dr-nathaniel-ban.jpg I am originally from South Korea and received my Doctors of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at Seoul National University on Mar, 2000. I also received Master’s Degree in 2002. Following school, I had worked as a chief of staff at a department of internal medicine of referral animal hospital in Korea for about five years. Since becoming a California licensed veterinarian, I have always made it a priority to keep up with the most up to date medical advances by attending veterinary medical conferences in order to deliver most accurate diagnosis and effective treatment for my patients as well as serving our clients. I also completed an externship at Animal Medical Center in New York, one of the largest postgraduate veterinary medical training hospitals in the United States. I was fortunate to have worked with 28 board-certified veterinarians, 15 interns and 20 residents at three different departments including internal medicine, critical care and emergency as well as soft tissue surgery. It was great and fantastic experience to me and definitely helped me to develop next stage of veterinary medicine.

My professional interest includes internal medicine such as endocrinology, hematology, gastroenterology, dermatology, cardiology, soft tissue surgery, dentistry and all preventive care. Preventive care is the most important veterinary field to keeping our pets healthy and living longer, happier lives. I currently live with my wife, two sons and one dog, Lilly. I love playing baseball and soccer with my children on my day off. I try to work out on a regular basis because I truly believe well balanced lifestyle makes a huge difference in my practice. My goal is to provide the best health care of your pets. I look forward to serving you and your family!
